It’s hot. And since you asked, you make a simple syrup (one part sugar to two parts water) with chopped basil in it. Let it steep for 15-20 minutes and then strain. Pour some over ice, add a splash of lime juice and a hefty shot of gin (or vodka). En-fookin-joy!
